Founded in March 1981 by the principal owners and founders Charles R. (Bob) Tuck and Jamie E. (Jim) Price, Sr., Lenmar began serving primarily the carpet industry in its hometown of Dalton, Georgia. Lenmar's service to the textile and fiber industries has led to clients on a regional, national and global basis.
In February 1993, we completed building and moved into our current facility at 2474 Lakeland Road, Dalton, Georgia.
Lenmar now operates a 41,000 square foot plant and warehouse equipped with six chemical reactors and a glass lined reactor. We manage a small fleet of trucks and deliver products in drums, intermediate bulk containers and small bulk tanks. Full tank wagons and orders for out-of-state customers are shipped by commercial carriers.
We are very proud of the group of technical representatives who sell our products. Collectively, they have over 120 years of sales experience. During many years of selling products to the textile and related industries our more experienced representatives have developed a great deal of knowledge and expertise. The younger group learns from those who are older and becomes better equipped to aid and advise our customers. Combined with the chemists and technicians from our laboratories, our representatives become part of a team that is unmatched in providing assistance and service. |
